- Due to the school being surrounded by a lot of trees, optimisers have been installed onto every panel to ensure the system still works if one solar panel is shaded.
- By installing 72 solar PV panels onto the school, the pupils now have a great hands-on learning experience about the importance of renewable energy at a young age.
- St Johns CE Primary School are now saving 11,683kg a year of CO2 emissions, helping to make Earth a greener, more sustainable place.
About The Installation
In August 2024, we installed 72 LONGI 430W solar PV panels installed evenly over the South East and North West side of the roof, with one 25kw Solar Edge Inverter to distribute the renewable energy produced from the solar panels to around the School.
St Johns CE Primary School are now seeing a magnificent difference in the energy they are producing, ready to start the new academic year, generating clean, renewable energy, whilst helping to teach their pupils at a young age about the importance of solar panels.
