To complete this installation, our maintenance engineer installed a 4mm NYYJ cable from the home, outside to the homeowners puredrive energy storage, connecting it all up safely.
The other end of the cable is connected to the EPS, which for this instance, is located by the homeowner’s front door, to power their Wi-Fi, or/and any other essential appliances they want.
A copper Earthing rod is then placed underground near the installation as a safety measure to create a fault path, eliminating the risk of electric shocks, helping to stabilise voltage levels.
Once the installation is completed, the homeowners are left with a socket that allows the homeowners to plug in their essential home appliances to the EPS, providing power if a power cut occurs.
Benefits?
- The EPS allows the homeowners to plug in their essential home appliances to the EPS, providing power whilst a power cut occurs.
- An EPS can be essential for keeping security systems, fire alarms, and medical equipment operational during power interruptions
