Over 100 solar PV panel clean

The Process

Our maintenance team recently carried out a solar panel clean of over 100 solar PV panels in Maidstone.

As you can see the solar panels are covered in dust, which was dropping the overall performance of the system due to the dust shading the solar panel cells from the sunlight.

Using our equipment, our maintenance team cleaned all the panels using iodine water and a soft bristle brush, showing off the beautiful deep blue colour of the solar panels once again.

Once the solar panels were all cleaned, the client will now be seeing a massive increase in the renewable energy the system is now generating, due to the cells being exposed to the sunlight.

We recommend solar PV panels are to be cleaned once a year, depending on where you live, to ensure you are always getting the maximum amount of renewable energy from your system as possible.
